An exquisite antique Scottish Shield brooch from the mid Victorian era inlaid with beautiful, natural agates cut to fit the brooches unique shape.
Each Agate is unique and boasts various earthy colours and patterned layers which are naturally formed, earning it the appropriate nickname ‘The Earth Rainbow’.
It’s modelled in solid silver and detailed with engraved patterning. It’s remained in excellent condition and is marked with the maker’s name “E. Atkinson” on the reverse.
