This beautiful Antique Edwardian Suffragette ring has been commissioned in 15ct Yellow Gold and set with a beautiful central 0.25ct Amethyst. Flanking the Amethyst are two wonderful sparkling Diamonds and further towards the shoulders are two 0.10ct Peridots.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which were chosen to counter the masculine women’s rights stereotypes put forward by opponents. Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
A gorgeous ring which supports the Women’s Rights movement and comes hallmarked.
